We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist for a temporary role to cover a medical leave. Position will be working onsite and expected to be 6 months

Pay $30-32 per hour

Responsibilities for the Payroll Specialist:

Will be responsible for processing weekly payroll for 200+ EE
Handle the certified/prevailing wage payroll
Will enter all payroll data into QuickBooks Desktop
Sort and organize all the daily timesheets submitted by supervisors
Calculate fringe payments for the week
New hires, terminations, manual checks
Assist with payroll audits

Requirements for the Payroll Specialist:

3+ years of payroll processing experience
Experience with certified/prevailing wage payroll is preferred
Understanding of union agreements
QuickBooks Desktop experience
Intermediate Excel skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to details
