We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity for our client in Newport Beach.  This position will be working onsite. 

Pay up to $125,000

Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:

  • Will be responsible for the daily accounting functions from AP to the financials
  • Responsible for handling the AP and AR transactions
  • Will be responsible for the monthly journal entries, reconciliation of the GL accounts, bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations 
  • Prepare the monthly financial statements
  • Responsible for the sales/use taxes
  • Prepare the tax returns and compliance filings
  • Handle any research and discrepancies, along with vendor management
  • Responsible for financial analysis to support decision-making
  • Will be responsible for processing payroll for one of the divisions 
  • Assist with audits

Requirements for the Senior Accountant:

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA is preferred and public accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • MS Dynamics 365 or any large ERP system experience
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
