The company is a prominent Manufacturing company headquartered in Riverside, CA, in search of a seasoned Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team. If you have a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and proficiency in accounting software. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining precise financial records, generating comprehensive reports, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring adherence to all financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

Manage inventory controls, costing, and reconciliation across multiple systems for job costing and payables.
Conduct reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
Assist in preparing month-end financial statements and reporting packages.
Implement and enforce financial policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency.
Collaborate with the accounting department on various projects and tasks as required.
Uphold high standards of professionalism in all communications and interactions.
Maintain exceptional work quality with meticulous attention to accuracy and detail.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, safety regulations, and applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration; CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or inventory-focused setting.
Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proficient in QuickBooks Online and advanced MS Excel skills.
Experience with inventory management and job costing systems is essential.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with acute attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at collaborating across departments.
