Pay Rate: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our client’s team in Carson. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting, a solid understanding of debits and credits, and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Prepare and post journal entries
Analyze financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
Assist in month-end close processes
Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting
Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting
Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Proven experience in general ledger accounting
Strong understanding of debits and credits
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Effective communication skills
