We are currently seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist with strong construction industry experience.  

Must have construction industry experience and high-volume AP processing (100 + invoices daily)

Position will be 100% onsite located in Costa Mesa.

Pay up to $35-37 per hour 

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Full cycle AP processing including 2-3/way matching and purchase orders
• Responsible for handling 120-180 invoices processing daily in a paperless system
• Ensure the accuracy, timeliness and compliance in processing of the invoices
• Support the monthly close process, including the accruals, reconciliations and reporting
• Year-end compliance including the 1099’s, year-end process and garnishments
• Handle the subcontractor payments and ensuring accurate processing, verification and compliance with the contract terms
• Handle the vendor management, research and discrepancies 
• Working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment

Key Requirements for the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist:

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of full cycle AP processing experience
• Must have experience in the construction industry
• Experience working in a paperless AP environment
• Viewpoint Vista or any large ERP system
• Excel (vlookup/pivot tables)
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
