Job Opportunity: Sr. Accountant (Direct Hire)

Location: Near the Valencia Area
Salary: $90k – $115k

Overview: A well-established distributor is looking for a Sr. Accountant to join their team right away. This role requires a candidate with extensive accounting experience and the ability to handle various accounting tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Reconciliation: Perform regular account reconciliations and manage journal entries.
Month-End Close: Assist with month-end closing procedures and organize related tasks.
Tax Reporting: Prepare monthly sales/use tax reports and manage state tax filings.
General Accounting Duties: Handle general accounting responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years in a Senior Accountant role.
Software: Proficiency with Sage 100.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Ideal Candidate:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Experienced in handling month-end processes and tax reporting.
Proficient with Sage 100 or similar accounting software.
