We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist with 4+ years of certified/union payroll experience working in the construction industry. 

Position will be working 100% onsite. 

Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Specialist:

• Responsible for handling the certified payroll for 200+ employees in multiple states. 
• Handle the full cycle payroll for union and non-union employees and certified payroll reporting. 
• Will retrieve and audit timecards and handle any discrepancies
• Manage the complex payroll, including prevailing wage, union payroll, garnishments, bonuses and final paychecks.
• Set up and maintain the payroll software and codes, processing the payroll taxes and ensure the accurate reporting for all union and federal compliances. 
• Weekly certified payroll reporting in LCP Tracker and DIR
• Handle the monthly union reporting, CAC payments, fringe benefits and Federal Department of Labor reporting. 

Key Requirements for the Payroll Specialist:

• AA or BA degree preferred
• 4+ years of construction/union, certified payroll experience
• Experience with LCP Tracker, DIR and Viewpoint Vista
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
