Responsibilities for the Accountant:

  • Will be responsible for the monthly close process and preparing the monthly journal entries
  • Responsible for account reconciliations 
  • Responsible for the sales/use tax filings
  • Support income tax research
  • Prepare the income statements, balance sheets and other financial reporting 
  • Assist with the annual operating budget, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Support the financial reviews and audits
  • Assist with process improvements

Requirements for the Accountant:

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years of full cycle GL accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience with sales/use taxes
  • Strong reconciliations experience

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

AP Supervisor

Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Supervisor:

Supervisor, monitor and manage the day-to-day activities of the AP department
Will oversee and mentor the staff, ensure all invoices and payments are processed
Monitor the AP aging and vendor maintenance (set up new vendors, edits, inactivation's, etc.)
Will be responsible for 2/3-way matching, purchase orders, and ensure contact terms are being met
Will oversee, analyze and review all invoices entered into the system and ensure appropriate documentation, signatures and approvals
Handle research and discrepancies and handle all invoices/vendor issues
Process weekly check runs, ACH payment disbursements and voids
Ensure company policies and procedures being met and comply will SOX controls
Prepare and review the month-end corporate AP accrual, monthly close process and reporting
Annual 1099 report and business property tax reporting
Oversee employee expense reporting process

Requirements for the Accounts Payable Supervisor:

AA degree required, BA/BS is preferred
2+ years in a lead, supervisory capacity
5+ years of full cycle AP experience in a high-volume environment
Strong Excel skills, including vlookup and pivot tables
Yardi experience is preferred
Homebuilding, construction industry experience preferred
Experience with SOX controls

Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Oversee the management of workers' compensation cases including investigation, assessment, and litigation of claims.
