Job Description: Senior Finance Manager (Direct Hire)
Location: Anywhere in the US (Remote Position)
Company Overview:
Our client, a well-established Engineering Services Company with international operations across 15+ countries, is looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join their Finance and Accounting Team. This is a high visibility position that reports directly to the Finance Director, offering significant exposure and impact across the organization. Experience in the Construction, Environmental, or Energy industries is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for offices worldwide and corporate departments, including the annual budget and mid-year revisions.

Financial Analysis: Perform quantitative analysis of operational and financial data on a monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc basis to assess performance and support decision-making.

Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models that project the company's operations and future performance, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate goals.

Department Coordination: Work closely with department managers to help formulate their budget submissions, aligning them with company-wide financial strategies.

Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to the budgeting model and business financial processes, optimizing efficiency and data accuracy.

Financial Performance Reviews: Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance with the executive team, providing insights and actionable recommendations under the guidance of the Finance Director.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with 20+ branch offices and corporate departments to align financial planning, reporting, and performance goals.

Forecasting & Reporting: Gather, analyze, and prepare financial forecasts, reports on acquisition activity, and recommendations for future operational needs.
Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, with significant experience in the Construction, Environmental, or Energy industries.

Technical Skills:
-
Expert proficiency in MS Excel (including Power Pivot) and other MS Office applications.

Strong quantitative analysis skills to assess operational and financial performance.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SQL Queries for data extraction and analysis.

Knowledge of Big Data Analysis or experience with data-driven financial forecasting.

Expertise in managing multi-location and multinational financial planning processes.

Familiarity with financial systems and forecasting techniques specific to the construction, energy, or environmental sectors.
