Overview:
We’re looking for a Cost Accountant to manage and analyze manufacturing costs at our Fresno facility. This role works closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Production to ensure cost accuracy, inventory control, and variance analysis. Food manufacturing experience and proficiency in NetSuite are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Update and maintain cost standards for materials, labor, and overhead.
Analyze and explain cost variances (e.g., material usage, labor, overhead).
Collaborate with Operations to resolve cost discrepancies.
Support margin analysis and inventory costing.
Participate in cycle counts, inventory reviews, and monthly close processes.
Ensure accurate production reporting and cost controls.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years in cost accounting or finance, ideally in food manufacturing.
Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
Strong Excel skills and problem-solving ability.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced with some physical activity (lifting up to 15 lbs).
Exposure to noise and temperature variations in plant areas.
