Exciting Cost Accountant Opportunity!
Key Responsibilities in this Manufacturing Environment!
- Cost Analysis & Reporting: Develop and analyze cost reports to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost reduction. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
- Process Improvement: Partner with the Operations Manager to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that enhance efficiency and accuracy in cost accounting practices.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing and managing budgets and forecasts. Monitor and analyze performance against financial goals.
- Cost Accounting Functions: Oversee cost accounting functions, including standard costing, cost allocation, and inventory valuation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Financial Statements: Prepare and present detailed cost reports and financial statements for management review.
- ERP & Systems Management: Utilize NetSuite and advanced Excel skills to manage and optimize financial data and reporting processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting or a related role. NetSuite experience is a major plus.
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
