Accounts Receivable Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead the full A/R function for a growing service-based organization. This role owns billing, collections, and cash flow support while managing and developing a high-performing A/R team.

 

What You’ll Do

• Own billing, invoicing, and collections from start to finish
• Manage weekly invoicing tied to payroll and time reporting
• Oversee A/R aging, collections follow-up, and dispute resolution
• Handle customer setup, billing requirements, and documentation
• Lead, train, and mentor the A/R team to ensure strong performance
• Address late payments, set up payment plans, and escalate issues as needed
• Create and improve SOPs and internal processes
• Partner with operations and finance to support cash flow goals

 

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of accounts receivable experience, including management
• Proven success leading an A/R team in a service-based or transaction-driven environment
• Strong background in billing, collections, and customer onboarding
• Experience handling difficult customers and resolving payment issues
• Results-driven, hands-on leader who takes ownership
• Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through
• Clear communicator comfortable working cross-functionally
• Able to work independently with minimal direction
