    POSITION SUMMARY

    This position requires a qualified person, to plan, design, arrange, change, and optimize manufacturing processes. This individual needs to understand manufacturing processes as well as be a designer. The responsibility of the manufacturing engineer is to create, document, develop, implement processes, and procedures required to manufacture, assemble, test, process product within production system.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Develop, evaluate, improve and document manufacturing processes.

    • Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments.

    • Analyzing manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput and output.

    • Analyze designs and product tooling to ensure effectual production methods.

    • Generate documentation for the production department to coordinate and implement technical training for production employees.

    • Developing manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, and related fixtures and tooling that are consistent with zero defect level and low product cost.

    • Providing engineering instruction to the production department to facilitate troubleshooting and technical problem resolutions.

    • Sourcing technicians and/or contractors for factory machine maintenance.

    • Supporting company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, ISO policies, and good manufacturing practices.

    • Responsible for process cost issues, and evaluate the process to reduce existing cost.

    • Production floor machines evaluation and effective usage.

    • Identify production risks

    • Provide welding instructions for efficient weld process

    NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Prepare special reports, as needed.

    • Maintain files and records.

    • Creating and maintaining accurate documentation of drawings, design documentation, shop orders, and concepts in accordance with R&D and quality assurance functions.


    KNOWLEDGE

    • Knowledge of manufacturing concepts.

    • Ability to grasp modern technology quickly.

    • Must be a good communicator.

    • Ability to prioritize multiple projects.

    • Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior.

    • Proficient in SolidWorks 3-D modeling.

    • Proficient in drafting techniques.

    • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (ASME Y14.9).

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    • Knowledgeable on ISO quality system

    • Understand statistics and numeric data

    • Knowledge of welding applications

    • Knowledge of machining application

    • Must be able to work in a team and follow deadlines.
    • Must have good communication skills.
    • Must be able to solve manufacturing problems and do analysis.

    • Work Environment
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airburn particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be load.

      EDUCATION and QUALIFICATION

      • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline desired.
      • Experience and/or training in manufacturing work environment
      • Computer Assisted Design (CAD)
